How to Help

There are many ways for you to assist CIELO Project in achieving our goals serving the self-sufficiency and empowerment of the Latino and other underprivileged communities in Thurston and Mason Counties. Please consider the following:


We are also actively recruiting individuals to serve on the CIELO Project Board of Directors!

Volunteering
We have a number of ways to become involved in our programs. For more information on volunteering with CIELO Project you can reach us by e-mail or phone at 360-709-0931.

We have a current need for the following types of volunteers:

  • Newsletter Editor
  • Webpage Editor
  • Community Outreach Volunteers
  • Program Assistants (Spanish Literacy and Proyecto Familia)
  • Office Assistant

Direct Financial Contributions
CIELO Project is a 501(c)(3) not-for-profit organization. All charitable contributions are tax deductible to the extent allowable by law.

You can choose to donate to the CIELO Project through the local United Way by using the following link. http://www.unitedway-thurston.org/

If you would like to make an online donation to CIELO Project you can use the secure service provided by the Network for Good.Org. Please consider pledging to make an automatic deduction for a given amount of money per month or quarter! This is made simple through use of the Network for Good on-line donation website.

Washington State Combined Fund Drive - The Giving Station
Don't worry if you missed the campaign deadline. You can still make a donation to your favorite charity. The Combined Fund Drive Giving Station is always open.

The services we provide for our adult learners and families establish trusting relationships that help the Latino community. (9%)


United Way of Thurston County
United Way of Thurston County welcomes donor choice. As part of our commitment to our stakeholders we provide the opportunity for donors to give to any 501(c)(3) organization simply by writing so on their pledge form.

Be sure to indicate that your Donor Choice is "Other Qualified Non-Profit Agency" and specify "CIELO Project at Radio Ranch" in the Notes/Instructions portion of the Donation Form.


Thurston County Reusable Materials Exchange
It’s true–one person’s junk is another’s treasure. Thurston County has a host of organizations that will take your usable items. CIELO Project is currently accepting: Household goods, tools, office supplies, yard equipment.


CIELO Wish List
We are always in need of basic supplies to support our programs and operations. At this time we would benefit greatly from donations of the following:

  • coffee and tea
  • printer paper
  • printer ink cartridges (please contact for specifics)
  • envelopes
  • postage stamps
  • toilet paper
  • paper towels
  • art supplies
  • printing services
  • snack foods
  • liquid soap


Donate Your Vehicle For Auction And Support CIELO
Donate anything from a riding lawnmower to a boat to a car to an RV in CIELO's name and we receive the benefit of your donation, while you get a great donation receipt for your taxes! We are contracted with a local service that will make the entire process easy for you and for us, while maximizing the charity benefit for CIELO.
