About Us

The Alliance for Community Transition is a network of organizations and individuals working to coordinate and strengthen community action in response to climate change, diminishing resources, and economic uncertainty.

Our purpose is to expedite our community’s transition toward a resilient, sustainable, and hopeful future dependent upon human resourcefulness, renewable energy, and a healthy natural environment.

Our goal is to organize community participation in developing and implementing an Action Plan that will reduce our carbon footprint, increase our resilience to change, and revitalize our economy.
