- Mission: The Thurston Climate Action Team is a public/private partnership dedicated to creating a healthy and sustainable future for Thurston County by encouraging action, coordinating action, and taking action on climate change.

- Avoid and alleviate the impact of climate change on Thurston County communities.
- Alleviate the soaring costs of energy, transportation and consumer goods for Thurston County residents.
- Educate Thurston County communities on how to reduce their carbon footprint.
