How You Can Help

This is a work in progress and came upon us rather quickly. On one hand it would be nice to not jump into it right away, but then it seemed like perfect timing to put some good news out in the community. So here we go! Plus the holidays will be a great time for friends and family to be brainstorming ideas and to be hopeful about the coming year.

We know there will be more questions than answers right now, with some of them being how this project could affect other related markets, business and enterprises in the area. It will take some empowering dialogue, but it’s time we shift away from competition and move to supportive relationships. I think a key piece will be recognizing and encouraging diversity, just like nature. What a wonderful thought for people to be able to live and work together in the midst of diversity. I guess as I’m writing this, the key will be determining what we are committed to, and this will help each of us make decisions as this moves forward. So I’ll work on that and get back to you.

How you can help? Dream, brainstorm, talk to others, and bring your questions, ideas and neighbor to the film showings Saturdays in December and January. Decide to get involved and step up to the plate offering your special skills and talents. We all have them. If you don’t think you do, we’ll help you to find them.

Sounds like a great opportunity for our community in these most interesting of times. Hope to see there!
