Indicator: Housing
 Affordable housing is a concern in our community. The average monthly wage is calculated from the annual median household income. Average apartment rents continue to climb faster than average wages.
Wages that have not kept up with inflation and more expensive housing means that families have to spend more of their incomes for rent. Affordable housing is out of reach to those with fewer resources.
