How to Organize

You are closest to what is needed and available in your home area. Some suggestions for what to think about in preparing to organize an event.

  • Where do I see the event happening?

  • Who would be good co-organizers?

  • Who will actually facilitate the ceremony?

  • What will the ceremony look like?

  • What type of ceremony is appropriate for your area, and the water near you?

  • Are there indigenous peoples that would like to be involve?

Good places to start are the sign-up for email and sign-up to organize forms.
