Water
"Water is the driving force of all nature." Leonardo Da Vinci
Water is the most common substance on earth.
Our bodies are mostly water.
Water acts outside physical laws of nature.
Understanding the mysteries of water is critical to our survival!
Every one of water's qualities is unique and they do not fit into the generally accepted laws of physics.
Almost all substances contract when they are cooled. Water does the opposite, it expands.
Science has not yet been able to answer the question of why water is the only substance on the planet that can exist in three states: liquid, solid, and gaseous.
Why does water have the highest surface tension of all liquids?
Why is water the most powerful solvent on Earth?
How in defiance of earth's gravity is water able to rise through the trunks of gigantic trees?
Pollution, global climate change, increasing demands on our planet, and ignorance have led us to abuse waters quality, and we forget it's potential and healing aspects.
Water is yielding and soft. That which is yielding or soft overcomes that which is strong or hard. Many know this and very few attempt to live by it.
Emerging discoveries and understandings about water go beyond human reckoning, beyond solar systems and galaxies, to the source of life itself!
We have taken a great step forward, we have really understood that we know almost nothing about water. Therefore it is a great step because this realization is followed by the desire to find something out.
Much of the above information was gleaned from the movie
"Water, the Great Mystery."
