Vision Statement
The Olympia Peace Choir is an inclusive,intergenerational group dedicated to creating peace, justice and optimism in our own lives, communities, nations and the world beyond. We love to sing and believe in the power of song in community. We sing from diverse cultures and traditions and are dedicated to practicing the principles of equality, peace, respect and cooperation. In all venues, we seek to create an atmosphere of joy and belonging.
All we need is YOU
Becoming A Member
What does it take to join? Your joy and commitment to rehearse every week. Your excitement to perform 5-6 times a year locally in churches, prisons, nursing homes, farmers markets, schools, rallys or the like. Members help with service positions that help keep the group running smoothly. Singer donations are paid to cover the costs of directorship, rent, music, practice CDs and other costs. Some scholarships available. Come sing songs that lift your spirit & inspire peace in your heart and around the world!
