About Us

Purposes

Charitable, benevolent, eleemosynary(alms dispenser), educational, civic, patriotic, cultural and historic purposes, namely to promote the protection and enhancement of the water and mountain views from and to the State Capitol Campus in Olympia by creating a public park in a portion of the isthmus between Budd Inlet and Capitol Lake. If necessary, the corporation may also acquire and manage real property until it can be transferred to the State of Washington, City of Olympia, or other appropriate non-profit organization for the purpose of protecting or enhancing the views.

Mission Statement

To promote the protection and enhancement of the water and mountain views from and to the State Capitol Campus in Olympia as well as enhance an existing park, create a new park, related public uses, and/or water enjoyment uses.

• Goal: Acquire the land on the Olympia Isthmus of an Isthmus Park

• Goal: Facilitate the development and building of the Isthmus Park

• Goal: Protect and enhance the of the water and mountains views from and to the State Capitol Campus in Olympia.

• Goal: Develop market rate multi-family housing east of Water Street and Olympia Isthmus park to the west.
