It is a course led by trained consumers helping other consumers take charge of their recovery from mental illness. When you successfully complete this course can help others in their mental health recovery on a one-to-one basis or, if you get additional training, you can become a trained WRAP facilitator and get paid for your work. NAMI Day at the Legislature

Monday, January 18, 2010

This is an important event-not only do we visit with our own legislators, but we host all the other State affiliates who come to do the same. These visits are an important opportunity to promote the NAMI agenda; they allow us to put a face behind the issues.

This is quite an endeavor, and we will need volunteers for Sunday evening setup, Monday sign-in, food service, and cleanup. We also need people to do the legislator visits. Contact Marilyn Roberts marilyn4nami@gmail.com 360 236-0199 to volunteer.
