Janine Gates for Olympia City Council

Dear Supporters,

In this city council race, nearly 70% voted for change. I am thrilled to have been a part of that effort. While I am disappointed by the outcome of the primary vote, I am very grateful for the opportunity this campaign gave me to help shape the debate on how our city government should function.

I am thankful to the thousands of voters who shared their ideas and concerns with me, and I am especially grateful to my many supporters who made my campaign such a rewarding experience.

I remain committed to bringing much needed change to city government. Over the course of this race I have learned a great deal about our city, its people, and the challenges facing us. I look forward to putting that understanding to work as a smarter and even more effective community advocate.
