Interested in delving deeper into the hands-on skills of creating a resilient and sustainable home and hearth? Join us at Aprovecho this summer for an appropriate technology intensive. This 7 day course will look in-depth at various lower- energy approaches to home heating and cooking, refrigeration and food storage, water catchment, hot water systems, greywater reuse, humanure composting, bicycle powered machines, and energy-efficiency retrofits using natural materials. This week-long workshop will be taught by local and regional experts with years of hands-on experience in putting these technologies to work in our daily lives.
