"Sacred Drum Prayer of the Heartbeat..."

Drum Making

It is our vision to make and give away 10.000 drums as well as creating a 24-hour-a-day-around-the-world-drum-prayer.

We have individuals who can help you make drums. We make the Northwest Coast style hand drum.

Our intention is to encourage individuals and groups, and communities to join us in the 24hour drumming and to support our efforts to make and share 10,000 drums to honor family, community, and spiritual leaders

To do this we need your help.

We need donations of money and time to making these drums. We will come to your community or group and conduct drum making workshops. We have been asked to take the drum making process into jails and prisons where there are many individuals looking for a positive way to express themselves. We encourage peace or community groups to make or receive a drum to use to add that sacred heart beat to your many activities. We want to share these drums with those still suffering from hurricaine Katrina, those suffering with AIDS in Africa, and the many other groups and individuals who need support and encouragement.

We need donations to purchase materials to make drums (Approximately $40.00 covers the cost of materials for one drum). In addition we need support to organize and put the drums together. We want to share this activity with as many people as possible and need support to travel to share the drum making process as well as drumming events.

Our dream is expressed by a dear friend and gifted musican, Danny Deardorf, who said lets make it 100,000 drums drumming for peace. There are many of us excited and dedicated to this drum work and we expect to network with the many other groups working with the sacred drum prayers.
